Welcome to Blinkbonny

Have spent the last two weeks mostly in and around the wood in rain and shine. My daughter has been with me a lot - taking photos and painting.

Lots of sunshine and showers - wonderful.

Most wonderful site in these two weeks was watching a weasel take a small rabbit - biting into its neck and hanging on until the rabbit stopped moving. Despite the fact that I was standing not two feet away from it, and it was obvioulsy aware of my presence,  there was no way that little weasel was givng up on its prey.

 Also got a great picture of a pair of Dragon flies mating near our pond.
