Where to stay?

You are welcome to camp at Blinkbonny - you can hire our tepee for £10.00 per night per person. We also have pitches for tents at £5.00 per night per person. You should be aware that amenities are very basic, there is a composting toilet, but no shower and no running water. Each pitch has a fire pit and log seating. Clean water for washing and cooking is provided, drinking water can be purchased if needed. The pitches are on a woodland edge or in a clearing in the woods.

Also please be aware that the pitches are five minutes walk from the main gate. No cars are allowed in the wood, and must be left at the parking area at the main gate.

Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead; apart from the wildlife and our own animals, the wood is surrounded by fields that often contain sheep or cattle.

If you don't fancy roughing it there is a wide range of accommodation in the immediate area - Gifford has two excellent hotels and a number of bed and breakfasts. For more information about accommodation contact the tourist board on 01368 863353.
